East Central South Dakota | As most know the South Dakota Corn Growers Association came out in favor of the Summit Pipeline. At the annual meeting where the vote took place at 8;30 in the morning on Saturday the resolution passed unanimously. It passed 30-0. There are 11 board of directors on the corn side and 9 directors on the council side and I assume all were in attendance. That leaves 10 other members were at the meeting that passed the resolution. 10 members got the headlines and determined the direction of the entire organization. That is the state of not only agriculture, but of the country. No involvement and then bitch about the results. The people that are showing up are running the industry and country. |
