The 955 I used to plant corn with had less than 700 acres of total use when I bought it and the air was set by whatever the operators manual recommended. Too little air caused seed to constipate somewhere in the 10+ foot seed delivery only making spacing worse.
I challenge any of you cyclo users/lovers to park your planter in the field in the raised position, set your air pressure to what ever you desire, turn the drum until seed comes out and LOOK at what happens. It will be scattered all over...the same thing happens when the row unit is in the ground.
I'm done, the resale value of these planters speaks for itself, look at auction results on tractorhouse.
