just a tish NE of central ND
NO one addresses the reasons for Cyclo shortfalls......they just point fingers!(:
...I've had 400 and 800 cyclo planters. I liked both at the time, but that didnt make them the best. They worked for what I had to do with them at the time. 800 had a much better seed opener and tension..... Both used a drum..Both used air fans,.Both were finicky on seed size and speed driven and how smooth your ground is and how much bouncing your planter does....... Both had long hoses that caused friction on the seed and that friction is a BIG reason why simulations isn't as consistent as a Deere vacuum planter which drops seen right down to the opener instead of sliding down 15 foot of hose like cyclo does. As tie goes on planters have been and will continue to change. the improvements have been quite nice.
