Subject: RE: Cyclo planter biggest shortcoming?

I run a 955 to do plots and small fields and My son runs the 1250 to do the big fields. I find that the seed blowing around comes from running high air pressure to keep large, misshapen or very heavy seed in the drum. I have been having an increasingly hard time finding perfect seed. Medium rounds plant with very little air pressure. I have never found enough difference in side by sides in the field to not continue using it. Can we set up speed tubes to catch the seed at the unit and drop it gently in the ground while blowing off the excess pressure out the vents? The selectros work great with ag-leader control. When Armageddon comes the cyclos will be the first planters back running. I have planted bin run soybeans with pods and stems in to finish on a Sunday night and there was nothing left in the drum that it wouldn't plant.
