4 miles S of I-74, 6 miles N of I-72
I bought the first 800 cyclo that the dealer Geo Dunn Inc sold, a 8 RN. I then ran a 900 12 row for yrs and never had depth issues you described. Yes spacing was not perfect. If there was depth issues one had wear issues with the boot and firming points. Also excess pressure for seed size caused seed bounce. I replaced the chains on the drums with bicycle type and slowed the speed to a reasonable 5 mph or so. The 7-8 mph noted on the population charts were a invitation for spacing disaster.
The row units are basically the same today. The furrow force add on that PP sells resemble the IH design.
