We did just that with the incommand on our 800 and you’re exactly right. You can get a cyclo set very well when you can see what your average spacing, skips and doubles actually are. But, they won’t be what a modern planter is. There is just no way to adjust the inconsistent travel through the seed tubes out of the equation. With that said, I don’t think spacing is nearly as important in this part of the world as it is elsewhere. Which probably hides some flaws of the cyclo but I still believe they are a very good and serviceable planter especially for what they cost now.
