100 miles north of the NYC crapper | 25 year old 900 does good enough for me without the hint tech nonsense. No worries about a computer glitch causing downtime. Is it perfect spacing ? No, but singulation is excellent if you pay attention to your air pressure and brush ht. I found lower air pressure helps and making sure the drum turns smoothly is important too. I don’t have the newer style drum and never bothered putting strips on the drum. Keeping the chains tight is very important too. I put a new brush in every year and always changed the firming point every year. Mainly because I didn’t want to be bothered having to do it mid season.
