Subject: lots of nuances - keto made simple

Pittsburg, Kansas
There are lots of nuances within the keto/low carb community.

There are basice that everyone agree on. Cut out the fast starchy carbs and sugar. Replace them with fat and protein. Most agree vegetable oils are bad but a few don't and that really does not have much to do with keto anyway. Kind of a seperate health issue.

From there on are lots of different ideas how to do that "properly". There are the militant devotees that can complicate it to exhaustion and very simple ways. Very technical variations and very easy.

I tend to lean towards the easy, simple. But i still like to hear what some of the more over the top ones say because a lot of times they are quoting studies that helps a person understand why what they are doing is either working or not working. Personally I keep it simple but like the information from the complex.

Two doctors that keep it exceptionally simple are Dr Ken Berry and Dr Eric Westman. A person would not go wrong listening to either of them when it comes to low carb/keto eating.
