Start small don’t go buy 200 ewes from the start. Get 25 3-4 year old ewes to get your feet wet. 200 ewes is nothing to for 2 people to handle 2 people could handle over 1000 if facilities were set up well. I don’t recommend this I’m just saying 200 ewes isn’t going to pay the bills. I sell seed and have 220 ewes going into next year. Their are times it gets really busy with sheep, crops, and the seed shed and I have to work late into the night, part of farming and being diversified. With that being said sheep have been very good to me and recommend it to many of people only to get back in response with eye rolls and a yeah right. I encourage your son in law to buy some and try it out but start small and gradually grow.
