Well if you give it a little thought, it's relevant on how many you start out with. If you onlyl start out with 10 you sure as H*ll ain't gonna get to 200 in 5 years by keeping replacements and not buying any others. Think alittle. They never had sheep and lack of facilities and land.

Sorry - - - - some guys here on their system w their animals you could start w 10 ewe lambs and be breeding over 300 in year 5 and that would be with only a 1 x per year breeding. Using 3 in 2 years you might be quite a bit higher yet.

Their numbers are flock averages of over 3 lambs per ewe per lambing. So even with ewe lamb number depression I'm coming up with over 325 breeding on year 5. As I wouldn't got to multiple lambings until I hit 100 animals - - - well - - - we aren't all in 'Kansas' anymore.
