NW IL | Ted, on the dealer side if we go through the "System Configurator" and set up the following:
(1) 8 row/8 section RTK only; it recommends 4100803 (HARNESS KIT - PLANTER TOOLBAR - 8 ROW) and also 4002759 ( CABLE - 8 ROW - SINGLE ROW CONTROL)
(2) 6 row/6 section RTK only; it recommends 4100803 (HARNESS KIT - PLANTER TOOLBAR - 8 ROW) and also 4002759 ( CABLE - 8 ROW - SINGLE ROW CONTROL)
In the case of 6 row/6 section ag leader allows for 2 rows of the 8 row harness not to be plugged in. This does not necessarily mean or imply that the above cabling will work for 4 rows. Just pointing out one case where Ag Leader allows rows to not be plugged into the harness.
With respect to 4WD comments above and RTK, the configuration should still be accepted even if there is no GPS (let alone an RTK fix). If a person sets up a planter inside the shed (with no access to satellites), the configuration should still be accepted. | |
