New London, Wisconsin | I have met scores of folks who are non farmers and always take the time to explain things and politely answer questions, they often have a lot of them.
On of the funniest occasions, I was wearing a several hundred dollar suit and tie at a wedding rehearsal when I was asked what I do for a living. I told him, and boy was he ever surprised commenting on how nicely I was dressed. Playing along I looked down at my clothes and said "Dang, this is the wrong suit. I usually wear this one while combining." He laughed.
I have always been a bit of an ambassador for agriculture in general as more of my contacts are non farm than farm.
