Frytown, Iowa
Von you take a lot of pride in how straight you can row your crop and your ditches mowed. The attention to detail shows you are advertising to the farm community who pays attention to details like that.

Every business in a competitive environment thrives on 2 types of advertisemen:. Doing the job right (image to those close) and advertising (image to those who don't know you)

Granted the parts store is hardly outside of the farm community who pays more attention to the first than the second... the second advertisement to the nonfarm community is just as important and a losing battle in America.

I will also say that in order to accomplish the second advertisement your truck or clothes don't have to be new. Often times I will break my neck turning around to see an older business vehicle in perfect shape. Old seed or feed company shirts or coats that have gone out of business that still look new are also an eye catcher. The emphasis is "clean cut" image and not "new"
