Denim carpenter shorts have lots of pockets and with the proper belt,don't "fall"down. And yes,I wear them on the farm doing chores and on roofs doing shingling.I wore "overalls" 35 years ago when it was somewhat of a fad "here", but every time i bent over, anything in the chest pockets was on the ground.
