when u ask a lot of these guys about what nutrients leave when u take a cornstalk bale off the field and they say one bale has so much nitrogen, etc.......

1. If there really is all this nitrogen in the corn stover already, what good would it do to add more?
2, If there isn't that much N in the stover and it would help to apply some N to get it decomposing faster, than the cornstalk bales aren't really removing all that much nutrients....
