Leesburg, Ohio | Gee, kbag, I'm glad there is at least one perfect farmer in this country who can get everything done on time, no matter what the weather. ;-)
I have to assume that you are making some of your remarks in jest, right? I don't know of anyone around here that just "didn't get out there and get it done" as you say. Unless you had a way to plant from a boat, or in pure mud, there just weren't many--correct that---weren't any days until late May/ early June that anyone could be in the field at all, even to spray, in many large areas of the eastern corn belt. I'm suprised that with the adverse conditions seen by others across the northern and wewstern corn belt in recent years that so many herre seem to think there is always a way to get it mudded in. Maybe I thought that way somewhat, until this year. Maybe some aknowledgement on your part that other areas might be just a bit different than what you see out your back door in a given year would be in order here???
Wow...the holier than thou stuff is a bit thick.... | |
