I've been farming 11-12 years and I've had many conversations with the wife about walking away as well. I did put the lion share of my land into CRP to allow more time with the family and kids. They are way more important than sitting in a tractor and combine when I come home from my town job. It is a struggle to balance a town job, farm, and have enough family time and serve the Lord (putting him first). I did put the alcohol down a year ago and have no desire for it. The Lord walked with me through that storm in my life that about ruined it all. Put him first, take care | |
