There are guys of all ages in farming currently that don't want to do what they are doing right now. There is definitely a hangover affect of previous financial gains. I am pretty sure I couldn't work for someone else. Equipment failures is generally what sends me over the edge. I am not rich, but the money part of farming is not what bothers me.
My policy is, if it keeps me awake at night, something needs to be done about it almost immediately.
For all those that feel alone you are not, seek advice from someone. I can talk to my best friend about anything find some one to talk to.
