S.C. Wisconsin | We started to exit the dairy business last winter. It's a lot work to do this but I am more comfortable with my decision everyday. You have to put your pride aside and I was worried about others poking fun of us but I was surprised by the amount people saying that we probably are making a wise decision. My thought always was that I am not going to let others to steal my equity and don't let your ego get in the way of making sound financial decisions. That being said I wish the best for the ones staying in the business and hopefully they can pull out of this slump. I am not blaming Trump but have to admit that him getting elected weighed on our decision because the tariffs have done no favors for ag producers. | |
