western iowa,by Denison | Sounds like you would not mind doing it-a 10 sow farrowing barn turned a few times a year-and feed out the pigs-you could probably sell a pig that is outdoor raised for $100 more direct to friends and neighbors and build a niche market-if you enjoy it -a lot of times it will work-it might not produce much profit but you can probably make use of things that wouldn't get used.
You could always start small-10 20 head and see if it is something to keep building | |
