Ill be the odd man out and say go for it. I started out raising about 600 head per year 13 years ago in 3 hoops. Now im up to about 8000 per year in hoops. All for the niche market. Hogs are a lot of work but they have been good to me. At least when im working with the hogs for the most part im getting paid well for my time.
