Knew a guy that got into bees pretty big. He took them to Oklahoma during winter, then hauled them back in spring. Had a "honey house" where they spun the honey out and bottled it.
He told me that there was a pretty big gov't subsidy for doing it, that's why he did it. Don't know any more than that, but that's what he told me. Haven't seen him in 15+ years, so don't know if he still does it or not.
