just a tish NE of central ND
Ive had them for years and I dont mind them at all.If I had time, Id like to learn and handle them. This isnt meant to be a gripe but I never even gave this a thought before...And Im sure regions will vary..What is the going rate for bees kept on your property over summer?
Where we are at its about normal for most of us to get donated a box of honey BBQ sayce and a Box of honey bears for annual compensation to have a group of hive boxes sitting in a destireable out of the way place.(group is like maybe 10-12 pallets of stacked boxes)
A dear friend indicated to me today that he gets 300 bucks and 2 boxes of honey annually for the same amount of hives in a corner of unused pasture ground .That is 300 more than I get....would make for more Christmas presants (:(:
.
.
That would beat the heck out of what the rest of us get.
. What is an average compensation amount for bees in your local?
