I am only 39 and get reminded by my dad about early 90 when I was in diapers . of 18-20% interest rates. I priced a new 30 drill last spring to plant covers but just didn't feel comfortable so I didn't pull the trigger. My wifes NON $60K excursion with 220k miles on it and 20yr 12 year old pkups with 100K on them just seem like I need to keep putting breaks and tires on them and keep running them!!.. Bluetooth NAV systems blah blah blah I can do it all with my phone ! Yes I could afford a new truck but I think I might wait another year! The more I learn about cattle the more I think guys need to open there fields and put animals on the land like Im sure some do. but if your not making money on corn why pay $500 acre to put it out to shell and dry and feed them when you could just graze?? run less cattle . Im just asking... I feel real comfortable where we are at but we are +$.40 basis on corn so I feel fortunate .
you were in diapers still at age 12-13? Lol. Might want to check your math :-)
