Subject: RE: End users of corn ?

I will hit hedge my needs when win value presents itself but we've been in a downtrend for the last couple years starting from prices that represented No advantageous value to many end users. If I don't find value in corn price around 3:50 today I have no desire to price later needs of this year closer to 4. Soybean meal values are getting close to a price where I would find value however alternative sources of protein have also been going down in cost so my demand for soybean meal has not increased. With a big South American crop coming on and in China appearing to be slowing economically along with our export volumes being down I see no fundamental reason today to aggressively hedge those needs.
