I have matching 07 blue x cruisers, still got the interceptor chips in them and they run. v-8. even gets 22mph if you don't do a lot of exhibition acceleration. state auction last spring, everybody wanted the Dodge chargers and the Impalas, crown vics were cheap, but the fall sale they were darn near double in price. I have 2 of the 7.3 powerstrokes also, a 94 I bought new, 220k miles and looks like new and a 2000 4 door, wanted a 4 door pkp but refused to pay 50k for one.
story on crown vics. .....significant other wanted impala that day, wouldn't even walk over to the crown vics with me, impalas were sky high and they darn near gave the first crown away........we went for another walk, they had bout 35 crowns to go. bought her one and they were so soft, got a twin for myself. sold my Buick with the 3800 engine and now I not only have a reliable car but a handsomely fast one too. | |
