EC SoDak | The land, by and large, isn’t going anywhere. So it’s just a matter of being bullish or bearish prices in the mid and long term. As we seen with the depression, 80s, and likely some time in the future, it works until it doesn’t. When it doesn’t, it’s gets nasty, and debt is typically a big driver if you sink or swim. Granted, if you have the cash and you’re a farmer, buying land is an investment you know and likely feel more comfortable with and that can be half the battle. | |
