Hard to find younger truck drivers or kids willing to try to get a class a or even a seasonal. The retired gentleman are still showing up and shifting gears here. No mask worries just happy to be helping. A coop employee is a special worker, hard to park a machine when you got a weeks worth of spread tickets and only 3 days before it’s going to rain.
What person can support themselves and their family on seasonal truck driving? There’s a reason retired guys do that, the same reason High Schoolers flip burgers. Money.
(Or lack thereof.

Agriculture is the only business where employers think they’re entitled to laborers at a wage less than is necessary to get applicants.
I will totally agree with that statement. Never said any different. If you can’t handle your own work load and expect someone else to help that’s on you. Have no heartache for guys that can’t find anyone to help or fix there equipment or run it.
