Your ‘facts’ are simply what has gone on for you. Which is, yet again, more evidence that every deal is different. That’s pretty much been the consensus through all of the replies in this thread. Your attempts at false equivalencies trying to support an unspoken rule regarding equipment trade ins aren’t facts, they’re experiences. And, if you read through the replies, every experience is different and that is why it’s important for everything to be spelled out beforehand. The attitude of ‘it has a different serial number, I win, give me back my stuff’ or ‘that’s how I’ve always done it so you owe me’ isn’t a productive or helpful stance when things can be settled on the front end so this whole issue is avoided. | |
