I would bet the salesman took pictures of the trade in machine to show his used equipment manager to get you a trade price. I would also bet the AMS items were in the pictures they used to evaluate the trade. He traded for what you showed him plain and simple. Taking off items after the trade is not right on either side unless discussed before hand. You offered a machine with components on it for trade. Honor the deal, he gets the AMS items.
