NW Iowa | Sounds to me like the doctor described the recovery period for a posterior replacement meaning they go through the butt cheek. It’s possible the doctor sees something in your hip that tells him to do it posterior instead of anterior. Both of my wife’s hips were done posterior because the doctor thought it would be the better way compared to anterior. Her recovery period was a lot like what your doctor described. | |
