Subject: RE: Hip replacement recovery?

I had a complete replacement on November 3rd. I'm 67 and was up walking with cane in a few days. Physical Therapy is important. I am 85% at this point but I have not been excercising like I should lately. I had the other one done in 2012 and there is no comparison to recovery, much quicker this time with the anterior approach even with 9 years of additional age. Go for it and don't worry to much about recovery, you will be getting around sooner than you think. By the way I am not in great physical condition as I am carrying about 50 extra pounds. Find a surgeon you have complete trust in, do your research.
