Subject: RE: Hip replacement recovery?

Extreme se nebr.
Fell in the fall of 2015 and cracked my ilium and the ball shattered my hip socket. The doctor put me on a walker for 12 weeks and told me I will have to have that replaced in time. I limped around on it until July of 2017 when we finally took the time to get it replaced. When he did it he said I still had a hole in my socket. The procedure was done posterior with a vertical incision. The minute I came out of surgery the pain was gone. I was told to stay off of a tractor for a month, which lasted 3 weeks. I consider myself active as we have a sizable outdoor hog operation plus cattle, sheep, and crops. They gave me no physical therapy and right now I feel I can do about anything I want to. I was 61 when I got hurt. P.S my family was very patient to put up with me during this time.
