I don't like government hand outs, but when the USDA has a cheap food policy sometimes they need to balance things out, their policy was working too well. Farmers were not making much and the we had the CHina embargo, something that should have been taken care of for years.


That’s how I see it also Al. Maybe we are both wrong.

Making it work at low prices is going to be the key in the future for farmers. Higher prices will just encourage more foreign expansion and investment. Long term prices seem to levitate back to COP. Being a lean and mean producer seems to be the way to prosper.
