My grandpa did similar a couple years ago. Had a 1/2 ton pickup and wanted a way to haul tractors and hay for his hay business. He got a 98 IH 9100 semi with a little cummins and a 10 speed. He pulls an older I think Fruehauf 26’ drop deck trailer and loves it.
