Southern Alberta Canada | Should be a few replies coming how much better a 300hp truck will pull then a 425hp pickup... Depending how you run your pickup you'll be looking for minimum 400hp. Anything HEUI (466E) https://www.hotshotsecret.com/history-of-the-heui/#:~:text=HEUI%20sy... could be a reliability nightmare, personally I'd stay away from them.
You'd sacrifice traction unless you get a 4x4, I do wonder if running good grippy singles on the back would help though?
A short truck will turn shorter than a long pickup in most cases.
I have yet to ride in a smooth single axle, even air ride. Some mods may help such as lower air pressure in singles, moving shocks on air ride and lighter speced truck, long wheelbase...
It'll be an awkward runaround vehicle with restricted access if you run to town, unhook the trailer and do parts runs/shopping etc. | |
