We used to have a DAF LF 220, which you will know as a Peterbilt or Kenworth 220. I always thought one of those would make a good alternative to a pickup fo what a lot of what you guys do. Ours was on the road 5 days a week delivering sacks of potatoes. It was always loaded to the limit.
