I'm thinking I should try running the corn head high. Then come back with the 653A as a test. If it works and I could consistently get the corn ready first I could get a cheap 454A head, eliminate 2 row units and put the remaining 2 on 60" centers.
Just take off the knife drive chains on the 653A rows that you don’t want to take in, maybe the gathering belt drive chains also. |
