Very nice! I’m amazed at how consistent the ears are. That is not what I would expect with the different populations.
How does this compare to corn in check strips and neighbor fields?
I will know more this week as I have a couple fields I need to scout again before the machine goes. But near as I can tell 50-70 bushel above my other corn for field average. Maybe 100 above a couple fields. And sadly 200 better than my untiled flats. It will be my best and worst corn year of my career. By far the most consistent ears I've ever had. But I will say with vset 2 and speed tube I have never had corn that was spaced so nice either. As far as neighbor fields go we had a good year so they will all be up from normal. County average is basically 150 on corn.
