Subject: RE: Three Gorges Dam

Western Iowa
I was surprised as well when I couldn't sleep the other night and did some reading on Dams in the world

Really the 3 Gorges dam isn't terrible impressive. A great man made feat, no doubt, but for the fact it is top dog in electricity output ( a fact that is pretty hard to verify independently, as a communist regime isn't known for the free exchange of informational fact), it isn't the tallest, isn't the widest, and doesn't hold back even closely to the most water.

If I recall, the largest water held back by a dam is like 3x times what the 3 Gorges dam holds back. I wonder how much that changed the earths spin?
