As a former construction worker, engineering student, and formerly employed by an engineering firm, you have no idea how many corners are cut. For example the slump test, that is a go to for testing each load of concrete poured on state and federal projects, is a joke. As soon as the slump test is passed, the cement truck driver uses the onboard water system to dilute the mix, to get it out of the truck. This watered down mix would fail a slump test....
