2003 Ford Explorer . 160,000 miles on it .. how many miles can I go for a oil change . Mechanic shop says 3,000... I usually stretch it to 4,000.. what’s everyone think?
Have a GMC 6.5 dsl 4 wheel drive ,daily driver,670,000 k so far and i change oil every 5000 k.So i think i am treating right,lol.Oil is 15w40 year round.
An IDI turbo diesel that runs pretty warm and only has 7 quarts in the pan is one of the few that probably need the 3000-3500 interval.
How many miles do you go for a oil change,
