Lander, WY | You didnt bid $102k first, you authorized them to bid up to $102k, the other bidder bid $102k and they weren't authorized to bid more. Just like if you asked a friend to bid for you at a live auction.
Personally, I always bid an odd number. If you had authorized $102,500, last guy bid $102,000, auction ends, you win. Or at least you can make that arguement, not sure how the rules of the auction you agree to when signing in would say though...I do know ebay used to be that way, $1 bid increments, you could bid over by $.50 and win... | |
