| Online auctions IMO add janky-ness to a already con filled game............my brother likes to use proxi-bid. I was at a sale where he was after a skid of parts, instead of the dumb A** having me buy them, he got on proxi-bid, I was standing right behind the skid watching. They weren't worth hardly anything and the auctioneer had a ghost in the crowd bidding against him and he just kept going. Spend hundreds on a $50 skid, and the next one with the same parts on it brought $25 with a few less pieces. I buy stuff here and there on Big Iron and Auction Time from certain people who I have come to buy from often, but other than that its only sales I go to or I buy private. | |
