Took care of the father in law's estate in 06
I divorced in 2010 and took care of my mother in law till she pasted last dec. Just finishing her estate work now.
Really miss that old girl. The ex,, not so much.
There was a running joke back in the early days. Somewhere in a discussion, I had mentioned that " I'd keep the daughter as long as the checks kept coming" . So in that spirit they (Mil /Fil ) sent me a check for 1 dollar.
I had forgot about that joke. About 2 months ago I ran across the check in my files. I can't remember ever laughing so hard.
