I guess I gave my Mexican in laws every reason in the world to hate me. This white Mennonite Gringo stealing their beautiful Catholic daughter and hauling her off to Kansas, a place they never heard of before. After all that I made a Mennonite out of her. No they don’t hate me, they think the world of me, and my family thinks the world of my wife. It has been that way for over fifty years now.
