Yes I have thought about the possibility of taking a "normal" disaster and exaggerating it to take more control.
This is what Armstrong is wondering about. I can tell he senses that there is more than meets the eye here. Their world threatens to come crashing down over their heads, and they desperately do not want to be held accountable. It's really starting in Europe - just like prior to the 30s. It's easy to see why the unelected bureaucrats in Brussels might want to create a panic. They have had a tiger by the tail, and their grip has been loosening. |
