Well obviously you need to protect yourself if you lose the ground before you can gain back the investment. But the majority of landlords are gonna be pretty happy when you say you are gonna sink 1000$/ac of pipe into the ground and improve the farm, all they have to agree with is keep the rent consistent and prorate tile over 7-10 yrs.
