We had a double wire electric fence up with a 20 joule fencer. That baby was hot as a fire cracker. This was about 5 miles from where i live. Just got home after chasing the cows in, and fixing the fence. It was hot when i left. Crabby old neighbor called and asked me if i was going to make that wire hot. i said i was just there 5 minutes ago and it was hot. He said no it isn't. I said just wait, i'll be right there. Went back over there, and sure enough the old far grabbed on to the wire and nothing happened. I thought **** in my head. I grabbed it and it knocked me right to my knees, literally... partly because i had one hand on a steel post and was grounded really good. Come to find out, the old fart has the shoes with an inch on rubber on the sole and heal..... He got quite a kick out of it. |
