SW Ohio | Just some things to think about, didn't read all responses to see if others said the same things.
1. Who's responsible for clean up of solar panels after 35 years?
2. Does your tax base change since no longer being farmed
3. With tight clay soils, what is the water plan for all the run off and weed control around all the solar panels?
4. Reputational risk from neighbors renting ground out for solar panels which most would consider a nuisance.
5. Incentive's for cleaner energy. How much does this affect your bottom line over standard electricity.
$600/ac rent sounds great until you think about unintended consequences down the road. | |
